App Furnance is a website on which you can create creative bespoke mobile applications that can be tested on the moblie devices within seconds. They can be published to Apple and Google Play developer accounts.

I have created a "Pro" account and I could design my app right away. The first app I created was called CoolApp. It was to test and try out the features of AppFurnance.

The menu is very simple and easy to use. There are different types of widgets on the right hand side and the list of page below it. The main navigatin bar is at the top of the page where you can upload files, code, preview the app online, etc.

In the center, there is a mobile model device where you drag widgets onto in order to design your app.

My first app contained navigation buttons that allowed me to navigate throughout the pages. I placed some text in text boxes. I have also hyperlinked an image that brings you back to the homepage.




To create a gallery I placed photos in a scrolling area:

Each widget can be edited in properties that can be found on the left hand side of the page. It allows you to set up the functions such as "go to page...", you can edit text, size, colours, borders, shadows, postitions, etc.

My official mobile application I chose to design was a UWE freshers locations guide. I called it UWE Locator. It is meant to help people find different location on campus.

Freshers/visitor can view the app and chose a category: Accomandation, Blocks, Buses or Recreation. The app will bring them to requested page showing locations.

I kept the colour scheme UWE related, so I used reds and white to create the contrast, and black mainly for text.

I placed a UWE logo at the top of the homepage so that it looks like an offcial UWE app.
