Before creating my portfolio website I build a trial website to find out what hotglue's features and tools can do. For example, “Upload a file” tool allowed me to insert a photo I took and edited (hotglue also allows you to drag a photo into a page and uploads it automatically), then I created a text box to insert a title, hyperlinked it, etc. You can find a screenshot of a first page I created below. It is an intro-page that welcomes its viewers asking them to view the site forward.
The next page I created is linked to two other pages: "DayLife" and "NightLife". I placed moving gif animations that made it more firendly.

The day-life page displays a YouTube video surrounded with snaps of London’s main attractions. I have also placed a “go back" button and “home" button in the left bottom corner so that the users can easily navigate between the pages.
This is how it looks like:

The night-life page consists a Vimeo video. This page had a different background that adds a night atmosphere to it. In a black space I placed a moving picture of a moon which makes it even more interesting. The “go back” and “home” buttons are blended in in the lights of the the background. There are titles on both pages that tell viewers what page is currently opened.

The only browser that seemed to work properly for me to create this website was Mozilla FireFox. Other browsers wouldn't work as intended when I was designing. Once I viewed the website on my phone it appeared very small, it did not fit the screen when in portrait view. This made the font appear small and hard to read. However, it didn't affect the working aspects of the site. The fact that hotglue doesn’t allow me to centre objects also affects website’s appearance on the other devices/screens.
To sum up, hotglue is a very basic tool which is an advantage for not-advanced users. It allowes you to build a website very quickly, but if you would like to create a more professional website you may find it irritating as the selection of tools is very basic.
A small menu, that appears when you right-click your mouse
allows you to insert a text box,
upload a file,
embed another webpage/video.
If you double-click, the menu expands giving you more options, such as:
changing page's title/URL/
background color,
uploading background image,
adding custom code,
adding a new page,
etc.
